CHaRM Pre-register

TerraCycle Zero Waste Bag

We partner with TerraCycle, an innovative recycling company that finds creative ways to deal with hard to recycle items. TerraCycle Pick Up is available to residents in MA only through Black Earth CHaRM.

Each Zero Waste Bag can contain one category of waste, such as all plastic packaging, beauty products, styrofoam, pet food packaging and more. Available in two sizes. Add on to a one time or subscription pick up.

CHaRM Acceptable Items

The Best Possible End Use

Electronics: Recycling and refurbishing electronics allows reuse of precious metals and other limited natural resources that can be difficult, destructive, and energy-consuming for society to obtain. Ensure your used electronics and their components are recycled in a responsible manner!

Textile Recycling:
1. High quality goods are sent to thrifts stores
2. Lower quality goods are sent to developing nations
3. Lowest quality is shredded for industrial purposes

Donations:
Donations are distributed to non profits and thrift stores.

TerraCycle:
Terracycle partners with numerous organizations to ensure all materials sent to them are recycled responsibility. For more information: Terracycle Recycling
